@Paul – Well, at least it was your handlebar that was cracked and not something else (ie. your head/arm ;-). At least you had fun… It’ll be a nice warm up for the 24hrs. I can’t imagine that course being quite as technical.

Congrats on the 2nd place Ken. I struggled mightily on the technical aspect of the course. I believed I crashed or went over at least 8 times. I even cracked my new carbon fiber handlebar. But it was still good times and I won the Garmin 500 in the early registration prize.

Yup. A tip of the cap goes to Mr. Hurd, AKA ‘Grease Lighting’ for his stellar race! He was a force. As for me, though I felt like I was hammering the whole time, the legs just weren’t holding up their part of the bargain. Such is racing. You can’t be fast everyday :-)
