I had one of those familiar feelings this morning when I woke up. You know that feeling when something that seemed so, sooooo far off for so long finally arrives. In 48 hours the Transrockies will be officially under way and Ken and I will be rolling out the first kilometers of the week long course. I’m excited and nervous as I am trying to get everything packed up and ready to go. We’re driving to Calgary tonight to meet up at Ken’s. There we’ll do our final gear checks, pick up any last minute must haves and then tomorrow morning we’ll be off to Panorama to check in. 

All together, it’s been a year of preparation and planning. It’s been a solid 9 months of training and now it’s here! Ready or not haha… We’ll try to post some updates as the week goes by, and of course we’ll be documenting the race so we can regale you all once it’s all over. Transrockies here we come!
