Thanks Leanne, I've seen those clips on a number of "women-specific" bibs, I hadn't thought about incorporating that into my set up, probably just because the tape worked so well ;-)

I'll have to see what I can jerry-rig...

I've always been skeptical about bibs too, and as woman, there are other "obstacles" as well. I was given a pair or Pearl Izumi Women's PRO Series bibs to try out in exchange for feedback, and I was amused to discover that you and I share similar issues. Thanks for the suggestion about accessibility! (By the way, these parituclar bibs have a clip that pulls the suspender straps together, away from sensitive areas. Maybe something new you could try with your electrical tape?)

Ha! Hope you like 'em. Though they look goofy as hell, I'm in love with 'em comfort-wise.

@David – I knew I could count on you to be the expert in that area. I shall continue the electrical/duct tape route in light of your feedback. Though "super-sized octagon nipples" does sound intriguing ;-)

I would not have started a post with "When I first stated looking into bib shorts ..." and had it directly under the pic of the guy in green. I would have riduculed you too...

For the record BodyGlide does nothing for nipple chaffing. You can't lubricate your way out of the problem: you have to cover them up. Electrical or duct tape works as do "NipGuards". The problem with NipGuards is that while effective, in a spandex onsie you would appear to have supersized octogon nipples.... probably not worth the mocking
