I've been on DailyMile since it was Beta and have logged just over 2,600 miles since the end of last summer. It's visually given me the emotional boost I need to keep going on and I'm utterly amazed at the miles I've been able to rack up. Competing with friends / meeting new people for weekly / monthly mileage is also a great incentive to push just a little bit harder.

I've also been able to utilize the forums for advice / feedback and the race scheduler to help countdown days until the next even I take part in.

Honestly, I couldn't say enough great things about DailyMile, Kelly & Dan, and everyone who's on it. Possibly one of the most positive social media sites on the interwebz today.

Of course the day after I post my review, they have to go and launch a schwack of new features... Haven't had time to play with everything but at a glance, some of the things they appear to have added:

Better graphing – Not only can you get a more robust look at your workouts, but you can compare them to your friends (even multiple friends!)

Better dashboard – They've tweaked the information displayed in your dashboard slightly and allowed you to filter it by "You & Friends" and "Everyone"

Export training information - Now you can export your training data to .csv

Contextual impact – Dailymile now pulls in fun little nuggets of information to highlight how green and active you are, like "Donuts Burned", "Gas Saved", "Number of Times Around the World", etc.

Fun awards - When you compare yourself and your friends depending on your performance (both physically & digitally) you're awarded "prizes" (ie. Dailymile Socialite for most remarks, or Going the Distance for logging the longest distance). Not necessarily useful, but definitely kinda fun!

Good stuff, and kudos to the Dailymile team!

Beware... Once you are on Dailymile, you may become addicted to it! I sure have. It's great for motivation though!
